Been going here for years. Always a winner. Great sandwiches. The spaghetti is really good. Very reasonable prices. Thank you for being there.

Giamela's hits you with flavor, heart, and portions big enough to satisfy any craving. The Pepper Steak Pizza slices are as big as your face, the soup comes out steaming hot the second you take the lid off, and the spaghetti, & garlic bread were the final touches to this culinary masterpiece. Their phone service to order was alright. Ambiance outside was peaceful, you can enjoy your pizza outside at the parking lot If you in Los Feliz and ready to grub, bring your appetite and dive into this comforting, hearty spread. Giamela's knows how to do food that feeds your soul, and leaves you with a happy, full, satisfied stomach

Humongous sandwiches for a great price. My buddy and I split a pastrami and pepper steak sandwich, and both were equally delicious. The amount of ingredients packed in the sandwich makes this well worth your money. This sandwich shop puts Subway and Jersey Mike's to shame, especially when prices are similar. Warning: if you finish the entire sandwich you may fall into a food coma while driving (jokes).

Easy no frills menu. I also appreciate the old school style feel to the restaurant. Honestly some of the best subs we've ever had. It's better than Framentos in Montebello or the heights deli in Lincoln Heights. The bread isn't too hard and the portions are wonderfully large. The cashier was friendly and answered my questions with ease. Everything came out as expected. Will absolutely be back. I had the meatball sub and my wife had the tuna. We also got a few Italian sodas and can't remember what chips we picked.

Now that's what I could call a dangerous sandwich as it was just that intense! So they have a ton of options here for a good sandwich and of them I went with the Giamela's Special which was half pastrami and half like chopped beef like they both were awesome and huge like when I say huge I mean two can eat one of them here! The beef one was awesome it was full of flavor especially with the peppers inside and then the pastrami one was just the way I like it with mustard! The bread was awesome too as it was thick enough to hold up to these crazy sandwiches but not too overbearing just making for a yummy sandwich! Overall they have a ton of random things here I hope to get back here again one day as id like to try tienes pizza as that too looked just as yummy as that amazing sandwich!

This place is right off the freeway, there's parking meters across or you can park in the neighborhood with a small walk. I almost passed the door up because it looked closed with just a black metal door. The place itself if very small with just a few tables. I originally called ahead for 2 sandwiches and was given a 15 min time. Because of traffic I took longer to get there so I got there about 25 min after I called. Even then it still took another 7 min to get my order. This was a Saturday so that could also have something to do with the extra wait time. Overall, 5/5 sandwich, my fiancé and I fell in love with how juicy/ tender the meat was.

Solid sandwich spot. Came in with a friend after a few drinks at BigFoot Lodge which is a just a few steps away. Inside is simple, no frills with a few tables for seating. I got the Mrs G's and my friend got the famous Pepper Steak. So good! The sandwiches are loaded with meat and toppings. Although my friend said she would have liked more of the red pepper mayo. One sandwich should fill you up but we were being fatties and got some slices on the side. I got the Giamela's special. Definitely filling with lots of toppings. The slices had a nice crisp on the bottom, thicker crust if you're into that. My friend got the Hawaiian, meh not really my thing lol. Service was good. Friendly staff. There's street meter parking up and down the block.

This unassuming white building off Los Feliz is the home of one of the best sandwiches in the area. You pass by all the time, but never stop; well we finally stopped and it was worth it. A small shop that specializes in pizzas and subs, Giamela's has been a staple in the area for years. I got the Mrs. G's sub and also the turkey and Capocollo. You just can't beat the price for such a huge sandwich. Tip: Pay the extra dollar to get the large. You can feed two people with it. Another tip for next time: Get the bread toasted. As you can see from the pictures, the 12" sub rivals that of Subway. Ambiance 9/10 Cleanliness 9/10 Service 9/10 Bathrooms 8/10 Food 10/10 Value 10/10 Will In Return? Yes
